John Wilmut is walking again for poor children
In 2012 I walked from Lands End to John O'Groats in support of education for poor children in Sierra Leone and elsewhere. Now I'm on my way back and, from June to late August this year, I will again be walking in support of the work of Christian Aid, but this time from John O'Groats to Lands End

The 2012 walk from Lands End to John O'Groats, also in support of the work of Christian Aid, is described in full on my 2012 website. You can access the blog that I wrote via that website.
Following the walk I wrote a book about it that includes the best of the blog, a full description of how I planned and prepared for the walk, maps and details of downloadable gpx files of the route, many more photographs than appeared in the blog and a full summary of the outcomes. The book is called Something Worth Walking For by John Wilmut, Arima Publishing. ISBN 978-1-84549-568-8. The book has a cover price of £11-99 in the UK, US$19-25 and €15-50. It is available through Amazon or direct from the publisher. Profits from the sales have been added to the walk fund which has now risen to over £10,000.
